CEO of Bahrain Development Bank: “Micro Shabab” Forum contributes to spreading entrepreneurial awareness among Bahraini youth


The Bahrain Development Bank participated in sponsoring the fifth edition of the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum “Micro Shabab”, which was held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, at the University of Bahrain during the period from May 21 to 23 in Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall at the University of Bahrain – Sakhir.

Mrs. Dalal Al Ghais, CEO of the Bahrain Development Bank, said: “Supporting young entrepreneurs is considered one of the pillars of the work of the Bahrain Development Bank, as it is the specialized and pioneering bank in providing financing facilities to entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises. Therefore, this sponsorship of the “Micro Youth Forum” “It comes in line with the strategic vision around which our work revolves around facilitating entrepreneurship in the Kingdom, as this forum contributes to spreading entrepreneurial awareness among Bahraini youth.”

She pointed out that sponsoring the forum comes within the bank’s keenness to support all efforts aimed at empowering young people and contributing to developing their skills in entrepreneurship, which contributes to the development of the nation and the economy, and in line with the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman. General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

At the conclusion of her speech, Al-Ghais praised the great success achieved by the forum, and the topics and theses that were addressed in the dialogue sessions and lectures it included, which were reflected positively on the outcomes of “Micro Shabab.”
