Al Khayyat: The “Micro Shabab” Forum is the best example of supporting young entrepreneurs


KFH-Bahrain participated in sponsoring the fifth edition of the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum “Micro Shabab”, which was held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, at the University of Bahrain during the period From May 21 – 23 in the Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall at the University of Bahrain – Sakhir.

For his part, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al Khayyat, Managing Director and CEO of Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain, stated, “I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, for his sponsorship of such an initiative, as The “Micro Youth” Forum is the best example of the support that His Highness gives to the youth category, as the forum included an elite group of inspired and enthusiastic young entrepreneurs under one roof to share their experiences with the students of the University of Bahrain over a period of three days.”

Al-Khayyat stressed, “Such serious forums help us build a new generation of creators, people with enlightened visions, and entrepreneurs, and meeting such promising young people, full of ambition, passion, talent, and will, is certainly an inspiring matter.” Therefore, we, as KFH-Bahrain, are keen to support such ambitious initiatives and encourage conscious investment in the unlimited energies and potentials of our youth, in a way that contributes effectively to supporting the economic development process of our beloved Kingdom.”

Al-Khayyat also extended his thanks and gratitude to the Future Youth Association and all the participants in the forum, whether speakers or participants, stressing the keenness and commitment of KFH-Bahrain to support such youth initiatives, and to contribute an effective and influential role in building a comprehensive system that seeks to consolidate the foundations of innovation and stoke the spirit of creativity. And spreading the culture of entrepreneurship throughout our dear Kingdom.
